It should be interesting for sure. I’m curious to see what the prices do, there are a lot of cool muscle cars out on the market for sale for a steal.

With the forecast for this week, I think I’d take another foot of snow instead. Gonna have to break out the thermals again to stay warm.

I’m checking on planning a trip to Cancun….

5-8″ again today. Then sub-zero temps most of next week. I’m looking for spring, has anyone found it?:S

In true fashion like last year, I fell on the ice saturday night twisting my knee, and landing on my back. I thought the fall was a lot softer, but the Southern Comfort was nothing more than a magic trick  Yesterday it was just the knee, but today its my neck, upper back, right shoulder wont let the arm go over my head, and turning my head l to r is a chore.

I can’t wait for the Dells, even if it rains it won’t be cold and icy.

I like Wizards but find it leaves a film and haze after time. I’ll have to give Race Glaze a try, there are many products on the market.

Tried the west side Target tonight, nothing there either.

What I’ve found best to get rid of that film that you get when quik detailer is used to spray the car down with some soft water from the tap in a squirt bottle and wipe it down with a microfiber cloth, if you don’t want to wash the whole car. Meguiar’s leaves a lot of film when you use it so I try to stay away from that product.

I’d be willing to give it a shot.

I had some of that Ice quik detailer and I wasn’t impressed. I prefer Wizards or Race Glaze, both expensive but work really well.

I’m enjoying the “warm” weather we’ve had the last few days, every winter should be like this. I’ve had enough snow for at least a year. Last night on the news they said the 2008 total snowfall was 111.1″…..that’s too much snow.

Filled up at $1.65/gal yesterday. Seems to be the steady rate here, and I’m not complaining. Its nice to put $30 in fuel in my truck and it dang near fills it up:)

    Happy New Year everyone!

May you remember to say “I love you” at least once a day to your spouse, your child, your parent, your siblings; but not to your secretary, your nurse, your masseuse, your hairdresser or your tennis instructor. :P

What about saying it to your buddy’s wife? Or your bosses’ wife? What if my buddy’s wife says it to me?

In regards to the car dealers on Odana, the big box stores like Smart and Don Miller will survive and prosper, but I wonder about the smaller dealers such as JD Byrider, and Russ Darrow, and the Gordie Bouchie used car lot next door.

I beg to differ, I think you will see the larger dealers close/consolidate and the rural, smaller dealerships survive due to less overhead with inventory and such.

B-J will be fun to watch, I do hope that the prices come way down on a lot of cars. Your big investment cars will stay high. I’m disappointed to see that GM is selling off there museum collection. I’m headed to Michigan in February and I’m going to check out the Chrysler Museum for sure!

Yeah, because we wouldn’t want it to interfere with greasy haired, tough-guy wannabe cruise night at Rev. Jim’s Roadhouse 😆

Just what we need, thunderstorms tonight. They are saying up to an inch of rain. I remember when we had that last year, a sure way of getting water in the basement.

I’m enjoying the warm temps, but rain is the last thing we need. In due time we’ll be back to sub-zero temps and freezing our a$$es off.

I haven’t done any drag racing in a couple years now, but when I did I went to either Byron or Union Grove. I like the nostalgic feeling of those tracks. havne’t been to the one in Earlville, IA yet, but I did drive past it a few times:P
