I love standing up by registration and just looking out at the sea of cars. Its amazing how many they get each year and its so cool to look out at the view!
GaribaldiKeymasterHi John good to hear from you! I think Ryan’s suggestion above is a good way to go. That would be portable and give you the expandability required.
If you’re looking for another option, something I’d recommend is the Community Builder plugin for Joomla. This would work well if you wanted to enter everything on a database on a site. Community Builder lets you add each entry for your show and record all of that person’s information – name, address, car, etc etc etc. This is all then stored in a database and you can then sort through the database and retrieve entries later. Moreover, for those people who have email addresses, you can mass email all of them about the show. The only caveat of this is you have to have an internet connection to access it. Also Community Builder and Joomla are both free.
GaribaldiKeymasterWhat exactly will be featured or highlighted at this vanderbrink auction?
GaribaldiKeymasterZac you bring up many good points. As you said judging with your friends cars even if you try to be unbias will still be bias because subconsciously you’ll be influenced either by knowing more of the small details of the car since you’re familiar with it or favoring it since you know the person. That really is something that is tough to deal with when judging.
Moreover, as you said judging turns it into a hectic job of finding where cars are and actually judging them. I love coming to shows because its so relaxing and I can just enjoy the day. Judging would take the fun out of it for me.

I think that set a new Guinness World Record!
GaribaldiKeymasterI’m glad to hear that at least it will be produced at all and I too am very anxious to see one here in Madison!
GaribaldiKeymasterIt will be interesting to see the prices. I’m also itching for a car show so this will be the next best alternative until Spring Jefferson!
GaribaldiKeymasterAnd so it begins…
GaribaldiKeymasterGreat, thanks for all the hard work on this excellent resource! The one thing I could suggest adding is if they want feedback on their car show they can tell participants and attendees to go to http://www.RateTheCarShow.com () to give their opinion and rating of the show so they know how to improve for next year

GaribaldiKeymasterI like to spice up Subway sandwiches with banana peppers and jalapenos. Those give the sub some kick!
GaribaldiKeymasterSpeaking of Taco Bell:
Taco Bell Launches New ‘Morning After’ Burrito
Quote:PURCHASE, NY—Hot on the heels of last week’s FDA approval, on Monday PepsiCo subsidiary Taco Bell launched its controversial “morning after” burrito, a zesty, Mexican-style entree that prevents unwanted pregnancies if ingested within 36 hours following intercourse.Developed by a team of top Taco Bell gynecologists, the $1.99 “ContraceptiMelt” burrito creates an inhospitable environment within the womb, causing fertilized ovum tissue to be flushed from the body.
Also available are ContraceptiMelt Supremes, featuring sour cream and extra cheese.
Taco Bell officials are excited about the offering. “In the past, before Roe v. Wade, young women literally had to ‘make a run for the border’ to terminate an unwanted pregnancy,” Taco Bell public relations director Grant Lesko said. “But now, women can make that same run for the border at over 7,300 convenient locations right in their own hometowns.”

I’ll second both of these! The Library really has great food – especially their Cajun Fries. I eat there about once a week.
Another place downtown by the stadium is Micky’s Dairy Bar. They have delicious food at very reasonable prices and in addition are a historic part of Madison
