Welcome msmonte! Thank you for your compliments on the site and taking time to read over the topics. We do the Rate The Show both to let car show attendees to share their opinions but also to provide feedback to show organizers like yourself so you can see exactly what the participants liked and disliked. Please let me know if we can do anything else to help with your show or any other show on the site! thumbsup.gif

But that is one of the beauties of the car hobby, it is yours let it reflect your feelings. If you consider value and collectablity, then retsore to stock. If you want a balls-out tire burner, build it. Just enjoy your baby.

Exactly. That really is what makes the hobby great and gives it longevity. Everyone has their own specific taste and tastes which evolve as the years go by.

Thanks for the updates Jon! This week at QSL will be unbelieveable! Also Tony Rocker is coming as well to perform with his band live so that will also help enhance the atmosphere to make this night really a trip back in time!

That’s a good idea for going to Botham. I plan on going to both Trecek and Botham in some capacity.

I think Marshall may need a few of our cell phone numbers

This is a good idea to see if others are going the day of a show. I’ve spent some time tonight and created a way to safely privately share phone numbers on the site. Its called “Car Show Attendees Circle” and you can see more details and apply to join here (at the top before all the topics):

It sounds like this show has a ton going on and is really a lot of fun!

Class Organization – They stuck me in a random spot with some 1930-1940’s cars. The other cars had a class system. In Jefferson they at least have a spot for imports.

Hm… that leaves something to be desired. At least they could have put you in a 1950s class!

Sounds like a good show and good turnout for Elkhorn. Did you find yourself retreating to the shade under the bleachers and in the swap area, or was it not too hot? I remember a couple years ago the heat made it almost unbearable! sunny.gif

I went to the cruise in Lodi once or twice last year. Its a nice setting with 3 restaurants right in that building – A&W, Rocky’s, and one other. The parking lot is nice, although there are some spots in front of the dumpsters so be careful of that. I heard from someone that they only had a few cars there last week

Andrew ~ do you know the radio station (1670) is also having a going away party for Casey (can’t remember his last name), and they are planning on bringing a bunch of people out also. Sounds like a busy night, hopefully there is NO rain in the future!

I did not know that! Are they planning on bringing cars or just people for the celebration? Could you PM me some contact info (if you have it) so I can tell Jon to block off additional space for them? Thanks!
