I just got home from the Jetz in Muskego. I DJ this cruise night and I packed up early to avoid the rain that came through. Darn, I was hoping to have a good night, but with everyone going to Iola, not many cars showed up.

Love that Lost In The Fifties truck. I can just imagine Hank Williams Sr. driving that Caddy.

I would never intentionally hurt the guy’s business. In fact, he called me about stuff I said on the interwebs and explained his position in regards to my drawing cars at his cruise. I would at this time agree with his stand. After all he advertised, spent money, hired extra help, hired a DJ and built the cruise up to what it is now. We will meet at a later date to discuss terms. I am thinking he wishes for me to pay a sum per drawing I do for him allowing me to do my thing. I do not disagree with that and will work something out.

Let’s hope the weather is going to warm up. I am DJing the Drive The Mile show Sunday and I hope I don’t freeze. If you want a good time and have a chance to drive around the race track, this is the place to be.

GTOman, we get about 40 to 60 cars at the Muskego DQ. Hope to see more this year. What really gets me is I do the flyers and include the “Elvis” guy on my flyer. Not even a thank you. Dude has the personality of mud icon_cheesygrin.gif

MMRJR, Yes that is me you saw at Boondockers, and yes, I did DJ at Venus Ford. Looking forward to both shows this year. I am glad you like the art. wave.gif

I’m more familiar with the Milwaukee area shows, but I want to get out to the Madison area this year. What I like about cruise nites, or what i think makes them special, is the car people and the business manager/owner as a team. I DJ cruise nights and car shows and my current Dairy Queen nite in Muskego can be like pulling teeth. The DQ owner likes the cars and people well enough, but he really needs to see the receipts at the end of day show an improvement. Since he pays me to DJ the show, I agree. Another thing that irks me is I have to give up the 3rd Thursday to an Elvis impersonator, and a very bad one at that. Bad Elvis and karaoke doesn’t mix well with the car crowd. They just want the music in the background and to hear the announcement of door prizes.

I just heard his replacement got caught with hookers at a cheesy motel.

Screw Gates. All is not lost. Rayovac has announced they will hire fifty more people in their Fennimore, Wisconsin plant. It seems they don’t like the quality of the batteries produced in their plant in China.

It would be weird seeing that name on a Pontiac. Call it something else. If I bought one , I would get the Holden body parts and really confuse the locals.

I like all cars. I have a 2007 HHR and a 1983 Mercury Marquis wagon. I belong to the Wisconsin Street Rod Association and I also DJ car shows plus I draw cars at shows when I am not DJing. can’t wait for the weather to warm up.

I don’t care for Doyle. He never met a tax or fee he didn’t like. The hospital tax is another scheme to get into our pockets. I can’t figure out why this idiot got voted in the second time.

Uh, hate to tell ya, Thompson hasn’t been governor since Bush got elected. Our current goober is named Doyle.
