See You Down The Road

After many years serving the classic car community, Wisconsin Collector Car will be shutting down at the end of 2024. Thank you for all of the car show memories!

I may go. It would be cool to see some of the more popular NASCAR drivers, even if there not running “Sunday” cars :)

I hate when I’m right

I think its time the fools who voted for Kathleen Falk stand in line for a kick to the unmentionables. Then after they have recieved there punishment, they can line up to take a shot at her :P

Three generations of my family have said that the City County building needs an enema. But when the blind and ingorant hippies who vote these imbiciles into office realize the fruits of there mistakes, it will be too late.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – I would never live in Madison.

Now, if we could get Furor Dave and his regime to quit trying to run the county also….

I see the concern by the people who live in that area. Given what Allied Drive, Darbo Drive, and Badger Road have turned into since they were developed.

Low income housing will bring crime. I can’t tell you why, but it always seems to happen. Drugs, shootings, gangs, prostitution – I wouldn’t want to raise a family in that setting.

Oregon and Edgerton were not much better this morning. This afternoon Oregon got the main drag cleaned up at least…

Ms. Moparkid and I went to her company Christmas party last night at Prime Quarter. Before we left, I asked her, “Should we take the truck? I haven’t been to Madison all week but I can imagine the streets are crap…” She opted to take the winter car, and IMO we should’ve had the truck. The streets are absolutely terrible!!! We were only on main roads, but I can imagine what side streets were like… This pisses me off because my Grandma lives on the west side and they don’t plow the streets.

Progressive Dane is working there way into the County Hwy Dept also. 18-151 only had one lane clear for two days, WTF? Iowa County plows there roads better by my house (I live on the county line) than Dane will.

Time for new county government. If you live in District 30, vote for Don Steinhauer in April :)

Does anyone know if there will be any celebrities there this year? The last time I went I got to meet Paul LeMat from American Graffiti and Ben ‘Cooter’ Jones from Dukes of Hazzard.

9 of us made it to work this morning. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Dane County had 17″ of snow this morning… I would believe it. My driveway and my road both were untouched at 7am when I left for work this morning.

Its a mess outside. Sounds like we’re all going home early :)

I’m ready to go to work tomorrow, but most customers will probably cancel.

Had the property assessor come thru the house again last night. Nothing had changed from the year before, and she was there about 30 seconds.

I have a bad, bad feeling our taxes will be in the 5-6K range

Some really good buys. Coronet Hemi clone for $45000. Roadrunner for $20000. Many cool cars in the 10-15k range. Prices won’t be going back up anytime soon.

This is a bonus, and good for anyone in the market to buy. Cash talks… :)

Well, whether the guy is sick with cancer or sick with something else – I’m glad I didn’t donate squat.

On the other hand, I have my suspicions that others were behind this hoax whether he admits it or not.
