I saw Frank & Jessie Schlumpf’s (Blanchardville car show organizers) new ’79 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz parked on Main St. in Mt. Horeb about a week ago… Sweet Ride!!
As long as it doesn’t snow on Thursday, that’s all I care about. I’m off to Jamaica for 9 days of sun, beach, Red Stripe and rum!

For fall color photos, there are many nice county/town roads in western Dane County (moparkid25 territory) near Mt. Horeb, Blue Mounds, etc. Here’s a few shots I took of my convertible in the Town of Vermont before the snow started flying…

Maybe I’m the only one, but I have to say that I don’t really enjoy the Jefferson swap meet. The show part and car coral is interesting, but the swap meet is usually 99% junk (IMHO). If there was some sort of organization to the arrangement of the vendors it might be better. I guess that’s part of the fun – the thrill of the hunt for that elusive part – just not my deal however… good luck to all who are going, hope you find that hidden treasure thumbsup.gif
The Reedsburg to Hillsboro cruise is the 12th annual Fall Color Cruise sponsored by 3 clubs – the Dells Area Cruisers, God’s Country Pontiac Association and the Summer Cruisers. My flyer says the cruise will be held on Sunday, October 14 beginning at 10:00 AM (you need to be there before 10). The cruise will begin in Reedsburg at Nishan Park, which is located on Highway H about 1/2 mile north of Highway 33. The tour will be approximately 100 miles on scenic backroads ending up at the City Park located in Hillsboro. A picnic lunch will be served with donations to cover the cost accepted. You will need to bring your own beverages and lawn chairs. This is a family event and will be held rain or shine.
