“I Can’t Drive 55” Sammy Hagar
“Cruisin’ in My Automobile” Jefferson Starship
montefrazerParticipantSite is all about 70-72 Monte Carlos.
montefrazerParticipantI’ve invited some Wisconsin people from another web site that are going to Jefferson to stop by at 11:30 Saturday. Might be able to pick up some new members for this site. They are 70-72 Monte Carlo people.
montefrazerParticipantGood luck and I hope you win lots of $$$.
montefrazerParticipantCommander Cody’s version of Hot Rod Lincoln, Little GTO, Pink Cadillac, Cadillac Ranch, and the song about the Little Nash Rambler, I think it was called Beep Beep.
montefrazerParticipantToday it’s Cheap Trick’s Lap of Luxury CD.
Garibaldi, I like the new U2 CD. Vertigo is the most high energy song and is the one I listen to most but the rest of the songs are good, too. Next time you’re in a music store or section, put on the headphones and sample the tracks.
montefrazerParticipantI saw “Shawn Of The Dead” last year. A comedy about people surviving and then living with the undead. I recommend it if you get a chance to see it.
My favorite is Alien. It showed a realistic alien, not a cartoon monster. The plot was believable and there was good attention to detail. Alien 2 was the rare sequel that was as good as the original. The rest of the Alien movies can be skipped.
montefrazerParticipantI am practicing up on my welding skills to correct the shortcomings and also learning engine work. from opeler
If you need any help or hints with the welding, just ask. This is what I do for a living. thumbsup.gif
montefrazerParticipantJust put U2’s HOW TO DISMANTLE AN ATOMIC BOMB in the CD player. Vertigo is on.
montefrazerParticipantYup, good old Nash seats. They even got mentioned on an episode of “Happy Days.”
montefrazerParticipantI saw it. That office was only about 1 year old and they totaled it and the Expedition. There was also Mikey’s old car that got totaled, the old truck they beat on behind the old shop, Senior 4 wheeling in the snow with his Hummer, and the pick up Mikey drove into the pond, just to mention a few more acts of insanity.
montefrazerParticipantWeek days between 4-10 when ever I find time. Could be any time on the weekend, depends on what’s going on. Don’t manage to get on everyday so “When I can” is the best I can say.
montefrazerParticipant“Talk to you later! Usually I try to hit the sack by 11:30 or midnight, seeing as how I have to get up early. Unforunately I always run out of time to do all that I want to do every day, does anyone else have this problem?”
I try to be in bed by 10 PM because I’m up at 4 AM, but I don’t always make it. icon_sad.gif I’m still trying to make up the hour I lost because of Daylight Savings Time. icon_rolleyes.gif Bed time when I sign off here….Yawn ZZZZ. Huh, what? Yea, I’m awake.
montefrazerParticipantQuote:What made the cars produced by a defunct manufacturer special? What are some of the manufacturers no longer in business, old and new? What made them special? Part of it is nostalgia. The people that recognize my Frazer either loved the car or hated it when they had one or knew someone that had one, but they all have stories to tell. Part is innovation. These car makers were working with little money compared to the big 3 so they had to do something to stand out. Kaiser came up with the Darrin just before the end. Studebaker had the Hawk and Avanti. Nash did the upside down bath tub. Hudson with Twin H Power was a popular race car in it’s day. They stood out from the crowd then and they still do today.
montefrazerParticipantSome of the more popular ones and less known ones that were gone in the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, etc. Kaiser- Frazer, Henry J, Darrin, Willys, Packard, Nash, Hudson, Rambler, AMC, Excaliber, Bricklin, Delorean, Tucker, Fiero, Eagle, Studebaker, Edsel, Plymouth, Packard, King Midget, Crosley. I’m sure there are more.
